- Above are two colour schemes for my front cover. I chose the left for my final.
- I used the fonts, 'a bite' + 'Brad' + 'Shonen punk!'
- I edited the main picture by changing the contrast and brightness.
- I edited the main title by giving it a dark green border.
- I used the 'Stroke' effect for most of my fonts.
- I used a glow effect on many of my fonts.
- I also used black boxes on the bottom and the top for sell lines.
This has realy developed from your prelim. you have used more colour. and have the background of your picture instead of your own background which is effective because of the style of you magazine. I also get the sense that you magazine as a whole will be to the genre fo Indie/Rock.

Things I like:
ReplyDelete* Strong main image, draws the eye. I think the idea of using the woods as the scene was good.
* Attractive and eye catching mast head.
* I like the strips of black with text on them at the top and bottom of the page.
Things to Improve:
* I think the colours used could be brighter.
I really like the main image, you really planned your photoshoot extremely well!
ReplyDeleteBecause you picked the scene so well, you didn't need to edit the background as much which probably saved you a lot of time.
I think you used the FX tool quite well with the strap lines standing out dominantly from the image.
